Master Hope Ozimek
Head Instructor & Founder
Founder of White Tiger Taekwondo with about 40 years of martial arts experience and expertise in Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Judo.
Master Hope Ozimek began her Taekwondo journey in the 1990s, earning her black belt in just two years. She co-owned successful martial arts schools near Chicago, won multiple medals, and holds certifications in fitness and nutrition. With expertise in Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Judo—along with experience in Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, and Krav Maga—she brings a comprehensive and well-rounded martial arts approach to her teaching. In 2024, she achieved her 6th-degree black belts from both Kukkiwon and Jidokwan, and remains an active martial arts competitor. Recently, she competed at the 2025 World Taekwondo Hanmadang, where she won two gold medals and one bronze medal. With about 40 years of teaching experience, Master Hope guides students to achieve their best through martial arts and the Tenets of Taekwondo—Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit.

We offer classes for all ages, from young children to adults. Our programs are tailored to different skill levels and goals.
No prior experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as experienced martial artists looking to refine their skills.
Comfortable athletic wear is fine for your first class. If you decide to continue, we'll guide you on getting a uniform and gear.
We recommend attending at least two classes per week for steady improvement, but you can train more frequently based on your goals.
We go beyond physical training to focus on building strong character. Our program is rooted in the values of loyalty, discipline, and perseverance helping students grow into confident, respectful individuals both on and off the mat. We teach not just technique, but the mindset and spirit of true martial artists.
